The links don't work, but I thought I'd put it up for kicks.

October 11. Today we are celebrating colorado-foosball.com's first birthday, at least the first day it was offically launched again one year ago. It has been a fun year with close to 400 registered users, almost 15,000 messages posted (remember we lost a few thousand along the way) and over 1,000,000 page views. I can only hope that we can make the next year bigger and better than the last.
OK, make a wish.......

Thanks again Russ, I thought the Monday Ft. Collins Pitchers DYP was a huge success. 50+ people attended, with almost $500 in the pot. I think we finished up around 2:30am, not too bad. Good job to all who attended and thanks again Russ.
Props to Gary E for putting on a little side show for us during pick up games. Gary that was one of the sickest demonstrations of talent I've ever seen in one game, front toe/back toe series, the hardest pull kicks I've ever seen, aerials, unbelieveable!!
Speaking of aerials, have you seen Mark's article on aerials? It's pretty sweet. (sorry Mark I completely spaced it )
"Foos in the News"
A local sports paper in Fort Collins, Noah Sports, gave us an ad in the paper and is throwing in an extra $100 to match Pitchers $100 for the last Monday of the month Tournament. So hopefully we will see you there on the 30th for a pot that will be around $400!

Sept 11, 2001. If we can all take a minute out of our day in memory of the tragedy that occurred a year ago this day, to remember the thousands of innocent lives lost and to think about the affect it had on our country.

Don't forget, this Friday night marks the beginning of a new singles tournament in Denver ... so if you're a rookie or semi-pro woman then you need to be at Bankshot Billiards in Littleton this Friday night for what promises to be a sweet night of foos to start off your weekend!

I just wanted to apologize to everyone, I know the site has been down for the past 4 days and I'm looking into how we can avoid this problem in the future. I'm trying to figure out how to run a back server to this one, and I think that'll take alittle doing. Thank you for your patients and I'm working on the problem.
It's back! Fort Collins is hosting it's 3rd annual 420 tournament on April 20th 2002. The open DYP with a $6 entry starts at 7:30pm at Pitchers Sports Restaurant. With $200 added to the pot courtesy of Pitchers and Noah Sports, this should be an event not to miss!
Come up early and hit the 2nd annual Foos-N-Da-Park at 1:00pm. This is an open DYP with a $5 entry. This was a hit last year with 50 competitors! Foos-N-Da-Park is held in City Park pavilion 7 in Fort Collins (nw of city park lake). Bring some grillables because the grilling starts at 12:00. Hope to see everyone there!!!
VEGAS!! And for all you poor souls not able to attend, check the site once a day starting Thursday for updates, news and pictures. I'll try to post stuff if I can get an Internet connection out there. Over and out.
NOTE: Sorry to all who were looking for updates, things got a little crazy in Vegas, I hope you understand. Also I'm pretty mad at myself for not taking any pictures either.
Wow, what an awesome turnout we had for our Rookie Doubles and Open DYP Vegas Warm Up. I'd like to thank everyone for coming out and playing. I saw the boys from Fort Collins show up, as well as Durango, Creed, even Billings, MT!!! We had 19 teams play in Rookie Doubs, and an incredible 25 teams in the Open DYP!! I'd like to give a shout out to Mike Rusch for running an ultra-smooth tournament, and getting it wrapped up by midnight!! You rock Mike!! And thanks to the Breakroom for being such an awesome host!! See you in VEGAS!!!
Ok, I apologize doing interviews is a lot more work than I thought it would be, but we finally have our next installation of "One On One". Our victim this time is Phil Washum. This guy has one of the coolest 5 bar's I've ever seen. Check out what he's got to say, and maybe you'll learn something about improving your 5 bar. I'll take mine CRISPY please!!
Sunday March 24th, 2002, The BreakRoom and www.coloradofoosball.com are sponsoring Rookie Doubles and an $300 guaranteed Open DYP (payouts could be higher depending on turnout). Thanks to Cheese, the 4 tables have been cleaned and newly renovated with new balls, bumpers and rods. Vegas Baby, Vegas!!
Ok, here we go again. I was just informed that The BreakRoom is running it's Wednesday tournament again, starting this Wednesday March 20, 2002. It's a no-Pro BYP (that's right, bring your partner), and the house MATCHES THE POT! Sign up closes at 7:15pm sharp!! Tournament director - Dan Barber.
Don't forget next Sunday March 24th The BreakRoom is running Rookie Doubles and a $300 Open DYP. (see below)

Vegas Baby, Vegas!!
RESULTS:
Huge turnout, about 34 teams I believe. I saw lot of people from Denver, Longmont, and I met alot of the locals in Idaho Springs. Great tourney Ron Sivey, I had fun. Forgot to mention, props to Graeson and Andrew for putting Lopez and Grace into the losers. Props to Lopez and Grace for coming back to double-dip Phil and Council 4 straight!
Remember that every Sunday here on out, untill we let you know, the Golden Cue willl be holding their 2 event tournament. I'm not sure about the payouts or the entries but it should be good warm up for Vegas none the less.
ps. If you're doing a package deal in Vegas you need to have your forms in before this Friday March 8, 2002. You can download the form off the web at www.vifa.com.Don't Forget!!
Sunday March 3rd, 2002 the Golden Cue will be hosting a two event tournament as part of their 5th Anniversary Birthday Bash.
The Fourth Annual Durango Snowdown Foosball tournament was held at El Rancho Tavern. 23 teams, 3 tables, and a $15 entry. Four Corners bar players attended from near and far, unfortunately only 3 ranked rookies played in the field. Wheelbarrows full of alcohol though. Snowdown itself is funny as hell (www.snowdown.org). We had a couple of shooters coming from the Springs/Pueblo area, but chain laws in effect on La Veta and Wolf Creek Passes thwarted most of 'em. Perhaps some Denver players might consider what should be a relative walk-through next year and combine it with a Snowdown and DMR (formerly Purgatory) side trip. We do have a regular Thursday DYP which is up to a consistent 8 - 10 team bracket, so the level of play is improving, albeit slowly.
Well, as everybody can see, the site is still up today. We had to reschedule the Upgrade until closer to the end of the month, probably around the 23rd or 24th. We will keep everybody updated though.
Actually it's just an old tournament relocating, but anway... Starting next week, Wednesday December 19th 2001, the tournament that once was held at Old Chicago's in Longmont, will be moving to a new location - A Bit Of Billiards, a few blocks down the road from Old Chicago's. The new tournament establishment will be providing 3 BRAND NEW TORNADO TABLES for one of the largest tournaments in town. On average they get about 26 people, but we want next week to be the biggest turnout ever for the grand re-openning on 3 BRAND NEW TORNADO TABLES. If you've never played on BRAND NEW TORNADO TABLES here's your chance. Be there by 7:00pm for the DYP, $5 entry, 20% house match.
After months of delays, deletes and reconstruction to the colorado-foosball.com website, we are proud to present our first interview since the website re-vamp. We got a chance to chat with our local super-star Scott Jensen, aka "Bear". Check it out
Due to some server problems, we have lost quite a bit of data from our site. Some of the things that have been lost are as follows: User ID's If you cannot log in anymore with your old username/password, you are going to have to reregister. Messageboard We have a backup of the messageboard from the 28th, but due to the fact that we have lost many user ID's, we cannot restore this to it's full state. This basically means that any old messages will no longer be displayed. Check the messageboard for more details on this. We have implemented a new backup and restore procedure so that this does not happen again in the future. Again, sorry for the inconvenience. -Admins
These were the current standings when I left at about 9:00pm on Sunday. I think about 75 people attended the tourney, with 24 people ( that I counted ) from Colorado. Hopefully Chuck Espinoza will send me the complete results sometime in the near future. I'm having problems with my camera at the moment, but check back in the next few days for some pictures. UPDATED Click here for photos
